hi guys. i am in the process of filling forms out for the aos/ap/ead. to avoid making a bunch of threads, i will use this one to post all of my questions, i hope you guys can help me out, i will be very thankful!!

so my first question is.....about how much must my co-sponsor be making in order to be able to be my co-sponsor? i know that differs from the k1 application one, but not sure what the amount is.

i am applying for the aos with a co-sponsor, it is my husband's sister, how much must she be making to be my co-sponsor? btw she was also my co-sponsor when i applied for a k1.

and also, do both of them need to fill out the affidavit of support forms? or just her, my co-sponsor. thanks!

It isn't really different from the I-134. They both need to fill out their own I-864 forms and provide their own supporting documentation. The joint sponsor also needs to provide proof of being a USC or LPR. Same stuff I helped you with when filing for the K-1. Just read through the I-864 instructions. They are very detailed in what they want.

thank you. does my co-sponsor need to provide me with their tax return transcripts for the recent 3 years or is 1 recent year enough? on the affidavit of support they are mentioning the most recent year but several people told me otherwise.

You need to list the last 3 years Total Income from the tax returns, line 22 of the 1040 form. You only have to submit the most recent tax transcript though. All 3 years are not required to be sent in with the I-864.

Yes, you should provide proof of current income. You can use letter from employer and/or pay stubs. One or the other or both. If the current annual income amount has not changed, then the letters you used for the K-1 should be ok to re-use.
