Cancelled interview?

Okay so I have two questions/ issues here. My fiancé and I dropped off our packet 3 to Haiti Messenger last Monday and they had us schedule an interview before we were able to drop off the packet. We then scheduled the interview in December (after going to an Internet cafe) printed the form/confirmation and haiti Messenger accepted our packet 3. Now today I go online and see that our interview is canceled under appointment history and on the home page says "no appointment is currently scheduled".

My other problem is on the homepage it says "your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate" which is not true since we've never gone to the embassy and we have the passport in OUR hands..

I called the ustraveldocs number and after talking with someone who was completely unhelpful she said they would put in a request to have someone higher look into it...meaning the embassy and we would hear back within 48 hrs or two business days. I am completely frustrated as calling the embassy results in getting hung up on ustraveldocs docs is completely unhelpful. In addition to when we dropped off our packet it they told us we need to fill out form 221g...which we printed and completed ...no where in packet 3 did it state we have to fill that out and it didn't seem relevant. Okay I'm ranting now but just so completely frustrated would love anyone's input thank you

I completely understand what you're going through even though I haven't gone through your exact situation myself. But it will all be taken care of soon and then this too will be a bad dream. I'm thinking this is the worst part of the whole process
