Hello All,

I am Pete and waiting for my immigrant visa interview scheduled at the US embassy in Lagos. I have been reading many posts here on VJ related to my visa category. I got married to my wife who is a US citizen at Ikoyi marriage registry on Nov 6th, 2013. Right now, i am preparing for my visa interview and never been to the US embassy in Lagos. I hear a lot of stories how difficult it is to get an immigrant visa, and i get scared. I would like to get information from you about how to prepare for this immigrant interview and likely interview questions. Generally, i will be glad if you guide me on the documents i need to prepare for my visa interview and how to prepare. i want you to advise me based on your experience at the US embassy how to go about this. Anyone with information about IR-1/ CR-1 INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE AT US EMBASSY LAGOS should please help me with the information i seek. I am eagerly waiting to hear from you.

Thanks in advance,

Pete.

Click n the guide tab top of page there are interview sample questions. You may not be asked none of those everyone's interview is different according to your evidence and your situation. If you have red flags things to face.

As long as you know your wife and the background and answer with assurance and confidence you should be fine.

You have no timeline when was your case compete and when is your interview. We have many for Nigeria with interviews for November and December.

Come join us on the Interview thread.
