Its become really really confusing...

In Germany u can continuing filing I-130 if u have an German resident card, then I read that if u get aproved before 27 july 2006 the process will not be postpone....

So what about the US spouses who already gets the CR1/IR visas by the overseas embassies after july 27 2006, august, sept, oct, nov, dec 2006 and before 22 jan 2007 and who already left to usa....

Its really very very confusing...

My US husband has a french resident card, the I-130 petition was aproved first week of january 2007, the final apointment for interview was for the second week of march 2007 and postpone by phone after 22 jan 07 coz that ''new law''

If some one can help me see more clearly in that mess, plz contct me.

Sorry to read of your situation. With regard to your question in bold, the latest developments do not affect those people who were lucky enough to have received their visa prior to January 23rd, regardless of when they had their I-130 approved.

Unfortunately the only constructive thing it seems you can do in your situation is wait for news on your case, and although news from other people going through other countries may be helpful, it is probably best to keep in touch with Paris with regard to your own situation.

Best wishes.

Thank you for ur reply and its sounds like that ''new law'' its not the same for everybody...

Is it fair that those people who received their cr1/ir visa from overseas embassies after july 27 2006 and before 23 jan 07 should be EXEMPT from the law

No one yet knwos what will become of those already admitted on visas issued from post 7/27/06 Consular-filed I-130s

Do you have a dog in this fight? Because your I-130 was filed at a Consulate, and approved after 7/27/06, it will have to be reviewed by a USCIS office, probably in Europe.

Germany's office is a USCIS office, so it is different than Paris.
