We just got approved! Oddly enough I didn't receive the texts, but only emails.... But I decided to check my email and found that! I hope you've heard back too!

That's great, yay!!! Congrats, I am happy for you! Did that little "inquiry message" ever change? I have not heard anything yet, it really is making me a little depressed. It seems like all August filers have heard something about their cases at this point. Now I'm starting to wonder what is wrong with my case!

It did not ever change for us! Oh no, I really truly hope you hear something by tonight! My husband was getting upset too, and was gonna call today just to see if he could get an update with his service request, maybe you can try that too if you have the time today? You're past 90 days so you should've been ahead of us but hopefully since movement kicked in for August filers yesterday, maybe the same will happen for you today! Please keep me updated, I'll keep my fingers crossed you hear today!

The way they word it make it seems like they did not submit the request. Of course I got this answer: "if you have not heard anything in 30 days from creating the request, please call us." But that was not my question, lady!! I just said, "okay, will do." What else can you say if they just read their answers from a script? I will let you know when I hear something. Thanks again!!

Ugh i swear they are never any help! Whats the point of being CUSTOMER SERVICE if youre not giving us our seevice needed?! I truly hope you hear something soon, or your congressman can help out. If not id suggest calling and asking to talk to a tier 2 officer because your wait is ridiculous!

Exactly what I always say! They always give generic information that we can read on the website too, never more case specific info.

Thank you for your suggestions! I decided to wait a few more days (I give it until Monday), and will then contact my congressman. I have a feeling I am going to need him more for getting an interview scheduled...

Thank you for your suggestions! I decided to wait a few more days (I give it until Monday), and will then contact my congressman. I have a feeling I am going to need him more for getting an interview scheduled...

Hey! I contacted my congressman's office today, sent the agreement by fax. Then got a call a few hours later from what I assume is some kind of assistant. She was super nice, but said they couldn't help me before January 1st, because the congressman has been elected as senator. So they are switching out/transferring everything (she was talking about handing in phones and computers?!)! So I have to submit the request again when the new congressman has been sworn in I guess. Why is there always something with my case. The next step it seems like is to (try) and speak to a tier 2...

Thanks, Stef. I am definitely going to call tomorrow! I just hope the tier 1 will actually put me through to a tier 2. I have a feeling they will try to "help" me with their generic responses. I will let you know if it worked and what they said.

I didn't need the congressman after all, it seems like they worked on my case today (only took them 98 days)...I just got the emails that my EAD/AP cards were ordered!!!

Yay!!!! I'm so happy for you!!!! it's odd, those that go past 90 days, I see a trend where they get approved at 98 days.... It's as though they don't wanna go above that. But I'm glad it finally came through!

Thank you!! It is such a good feeling, I'm so glad this came through before Thanksgiving. Now I can relax a little before I start to worry again about getting an interview date

You're right about the 98 day thing, maybe their limit is 100 days or something. You know what, when I checked my case status online, that little message at the bottom is still the same (they have not assigned the request). Oh well, all I care about right now is actually getting the card safe in my hands!
