Missing P4

Well the issue became that my fiancee has not received her P4 packet. Nor has she received anything for it. The online thing said processing then AP then processing then AP. She has an interview set for the 20th in Guangzhou but we are a little worried. If she never receives the P4 and goes to the interview will she be denied?

Well the issue became that my fiancee has not received her P4 packet. Nor has she received anything for it. The online thing said processing then AP then processing then AP. We went through this quickly this summer but my recollection is...

1. Receive P3

2 Send response to P3

3. Receive P4

4. Do medical exam and then make interview appointment

5. Pick up medical results

6. Do interview

So...did she get her medical exam done already?

No she has not done her medical. We got the P3 and she mailed it in a few weeks ago. We have not received a p4 yet though. she did her 160 already weeks ago and it was set for the 20th this month. Just no p4 yet. It just updated on the 10th with AP again. Oct 9th they received the digital copy.

Interview date is something that you pick and we chose to not to do that

until we

1. got P4

2. did the medical exam

3 and got the medical results

Given that you only have 7 days before her interview...

you are really pressed for time to get the medical done and to get the results.

You should probably consider canceling the interview and resetting to a later date

after you completed 3 items mentioned above.

p4 is the interview letter with instructions. are you certain she's not got it?

can request it to be emailed out via the IV Unit webform email request thingie, get on that now - when the IV Unit is open local china time - it'll get looked at quickly.

Well thankfully after I got an email back from the embassy, I found out QQ has a bad habbit of loosing the P4. I then had the bright Idea of checking my email and found it in my junk filter. So crisis averted............for now. Heh....................... Thank you though for the reply.

there is much you can do without the P4 letter.

With your interview confirmation letter you can get your physical scheduled. my fiance got her physical done in shanghai. She did not go to Guangzhou. you have your DS-160 confirmation page, I-134, documents listed from P3 birth, divorce, no marriage, police, duplicate 129f, more evidence of relation-further chats. originals of NOA1 and NOA2. Did I forget anything?

Guangzhou? the place 2 doors from the IV Unit? 1 week? Really? That's bizarre, an outlier.
