Heading to Montreal tomorrow for my interview on Wednesday!!!

AND I AM SO NERVOUS!!!! I swear if they named it something else it might not be so bad but simply calling it an "Interview" has my stomach in KNOTS! Especially knowing that this person is going to play the devils advocate and be a skeptic that I have to convince otherwise!!!!

I have all my papers in a row, I have more than enough evidence of our relationship (I'm bringing a photo album I've been putting together since we met, heh) ... I know that I have everything I need, I know that I can answer all of their questions. I'm not a high risk person, I don't have a criminal history. In fact I have lived a very boring, quiet life up to this point. SO why is it that I am sooooooo nervous?!!!

I have... and I'm more so listing these off because I've been running through this list in my head all day today at work and I feel like I need to write it down again and get it out !!! But I have both our consent letters, my 2 recent photos, his affidavit of support (and a whole bunch of unnecessary supporting documents such as his W2, tax forms, employment letter, bank statements for the last 12 months, bank information (date account opened, etc), two most recent pay stubs), the DS-160 confirmation page, loomis information, a copy of the NOA2 (and NOA1 just in case!) a copy of my passport biographic information, my actual passport, my long form birth certificate, his certified divorce decree, my police check/clearance, my medical packet, copies of chat logs, a photo album with photos from all of our visits in the last two years, and a photocopy of his drivers license in case everything else wasn't enough to prove his address.... I have memorized his phone number (I never remember peoples phone numbers!) I've gone over his sisters married names over and over again (what if they ask me for his siblings full names?!) I have all of the original packages and letters and such that I photocopied for the original K1 packet.... I have cards from family members congratulating us on our engagement....

tl;dr I am ... more than prepared.

And yet I am still shivering I'm so nervous. I failed my first driving test due to nerves.... I'm so afraid I'm going to slip up, say something wrong, look unnatural, smile the wrong way ... I hate having high anxiety.

06/22/2015 Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case

10/03/2015 Received Green Card in the mail!!!

ps - they don't give a ####### about your future spouse's siblings' full names - how would they know what they were anyway? no paperwork ever asked for that info - just sayin.

I understand your anxiety. I was nervous too and everyone on VJ says "relax, it is one of the easiest parts of the process." And you know what? It's true, but you can't realize that until you go through it yourself.

You are more than prepared with documentation. Since you are so super nervous, my advice would be this:

Just answer their questions, and give them documents that they request. Do not offer more information verbally than they ask for. Simple answers. Sometimes less is more. Just give them what they need, with a smile.

Then afterwards, go have a celebratory drink, and come back here and post and let us know how it went! :luv:

You are obviously very well prepared , you are going to have a great interview. It is understandable that you are nervous, this is a big deal, there are not clear rules that your are following ( except for what you have learned along the way) and you don't do it every day. It might help to remember that the Embassy staff are people with families as well and that they understand what it is like to be apart. They want

I see good things for you.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.
