Cuba - trouble getting a PIN

Hello - I'm working on a K1 visa for my fiance. Has anyone had trouble getting a PIN for phone communication with the Special Interests Section? I tried 4 different credit cards today, and all were denied, so I was unable to get a PIN. This makes me very worried if I am unable to be in contact with the embassy... not sure what to do.

Thanks in advance,

Sheryl

Thank you, yes, you no longer need to call the embassy to schedule an apt, but I have questions I need to ask, which can't be done on the new apt line.

you only need a "PIN" to schedule an interview under the previous scheduling process. you can call the office directly if you have questions. try calling the non-appt line that the interest section publishes on their webpage. http://havana.usint.gov/contact.html. or email them. <HavanaConsularInfo@state.gov>

you can also try to ask your questions here - there might be someone that can help you out.
