Does USC spouse need to attend interview with LPR applying under 3-year rule?

I feel like I've seen discussion on this, and maybe the answer varies bases on your office, but is there a general consensus?

Husband's N-400 interview has been scheduled for a Saturday (weird!), which would make it easy for me to stay home with our daughter while he goes, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be there with him for the interview.

I'm the USC petitioner.

Timeline:

10/06/2005 Met in Ireland while I was on a study abroad

03/15/2010 K-1 NOA1

05/27/2010 K-1 NOA2

09/10/2010 K-1 Interview

09/22/2010 POE

10/01/2010 Wedding

10/27/2010 AOS/EAD/AP NOA1s

12/22/2010 EAD/AP Approved

04/05/2011 AOS Approved - no interview

04/09/2011 Green Card received

01/24/2013 ROC NOA1

06/28/2013 ROC Approved - no interview

07/05/2013 10-year Green Card received

08/19/2014 N-400 NOA

12/06/2014 N-400 Interview

01/09/2014 Naturalization ceremony

My husband is now a US Citizen! Our journey is over!

Hi! I just finished my interview 2hrs ago. My husband accompanied me in the office but he didn't join me in the interview room. The officer didn't asked for him to join as well. I was called 10:15am and got out 10:30am :)

It's not needed, but I would recommend it, I do understand your situation though, thank God the kids will be at school by the time I will be having mine next week and I asked my husband to take that day off, just in case :), can you get someone to keep an eye on your kid?

It's not necessary, I didn't go with my husband (as I had to work) and it was no problem whatsoever. There is no reason you would have to go with him as even if you did, they don't let you in the room. It is absolutely not required or even recommended that you accompany him. They're only interested in talking to him, not you.

Just make sure he brings all documentation with him! They asked us for stuff that wasn't on our checklist (as you may have seen from my previous posts). Bring along all commingled finance statements, leases, etc. over the last 3 years.

11.19.14 - Oath ceremony (8:30am) in Brooklyn - Completed! DONE WITH USCIS!

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Your spouse doesn't need to go with you to your interview.My wife had her interview today and I didn't go with her.She got approved.
