Question on CFO

My fiancee is in Manila now waiting for her interview. Can she take the CFO course now while she is waiting, or does she have to wait until she gets her visa? I am looking at the information on the site and it looks like she can take the seminar now. It would sure save us the extra trip back to Manila from Cebu.

Yeah, so looking again at the GCP flyer, there is an office in Cebu where we can walk-in to get her CFO.

She can take the CFO seminar now but she'll only receive the CFO certificate after she's done. She'll either have to go back there after she receives her visa and have them put the sticker on it, or she can present the CFO certificate at the airport and get her sticker there... or she can wait till she has her visa on hand so it'll be just one trip... her (or your) choice Good luck!

Yes she can attend CFO now in Manila or Cebu. After receiving the passport with visa simply return to CFO to get the sticker, of course bring the requested copies of the visa/passport

It's better for her to attend the CFO seminar in Cebu and it's easier if she already has her visa with her so there's no need to go back to have it stamped...

St. Luke's would not have her scheduled for immunizations if there were TB concerns.

Unless they specifically stamped "Immunization" on your paper, I wouldn't consider it home free from sputum tests. When my fiancee finished her medical appointment, they told her to "come back tomorrow for immunization." She was so hopeful and excited because of that, so it came as a really big blow when they told her the next day that she needs to do the sputum test and we had to go through 2 months of anxious waiting.

So I know it's being pessimistic, but until they stamp Immunization, I'll keep praying... I hope you make it!

Were you told to come back for immunization the next day, or just told to return the next day, then told about sputum?

She was told to "come back tomorrow for your immunization." We were both excited because we thought she passed... oh well, water under the bridge, she's coming here finally on Sunday so all the previous trials are but a memory, and the visa journey continues

No sputum test! She got her vaccinations and that was it! She has her immunization record now and the medical CD. Now to wait for 8 more days for the interview.
