So my fiance seems to have found the paperwork to get her justice record done. Apparently they told her it might take up to 3 weeks. Is this correct?

Here is what the first sheet looks like. Is it correct? http://i.imgur.com/coRxL2M.jpg

That's not the Police Record #2 (Lý Lịch Tư Pháp Số 2).

It took 4 days for my then-fiancee to apply and receive her Police Record #2. Of course, that is after 500.000 VND coffee money. The lady who worked at the Justice place even called and told my then-fiancee it was ready for pickup. Coffee money goes a long way in Vietnam. LOL

Ok cool. We are still waiting for NOA2 so the 3 weeks wouldn't have really mattered, but it's good to know haha. She never has to deal with government offices so she's pretty unfamiliar with the process of how to get these papers. Unfortunately I'm not much of a help with this for her either.

My wife's police record has the number "2" on it. They told my wife that if she gives them $50 USD, then she will get it in 3 days. Otherwise, it will take a month or so.

At first my wife was not giving them money, and she came back to ask her record after one month of submitting. They told her that her application is not in record.

So she gave them money for this time and she got it in 3 days.

Thanks for the advice. She got told sometime similar by a friend of a friend who had gone through the visa process for Australia. Apparently they need the same #2 record. I'm happy for this since she'll have someone that knows where/when/how to get it. All the advice here was solid!
