hi,my finance recieved a letter from NVC since 22nd of october that our petition has been forward to Nigeria embassy, have been waiting for Nigeria embassy to contact me since then,thou i stay in Abuja and my finance filled Abuja as my place of interview. so right row we really confused.we dont know the way forward,because the fiiling will expire by Jan.

I think it depends on the embassy. It would help if you provide this info or fill in your timeline.


In my embassy for example, the fee used to be paid half in a bank, and the rest to the embassy on the day of the interview. Now it is paid entirely at the embassy.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Timeline

The interview and medical are only in Lagos not in Abuja. You want to pay the fee at GT Bank and then fill out the DS 160 online and then pick your interview date. Then go for your medical in Lagos. Make sure all your vaccinations are complete prior to going for the medical. You want to look on the Nigerian embassy page as well.
