My parents own a business together, and they file their taxes jointly. Can just my dad fill out the I-864 or because my mom´s name is on the tax information, does my mom need to fill out the I-864A? Thanks in advance!

You don't have to if one parent can prove their share of the income. In cases like these however, I always suggest that one parent files I-864 and the other an I-864A, rather than trying to prove who's income is whose. They have to be included as part of the household size anyway, so they might as well combine their income.

Yes, it's always better to file both forms. So one parent can file the I-864 and the other the I-864A. It doesn't matter who files which one, but to keep it simple, whoever is listed first on the tax return should file the I-864, and whoever is listed as the spouse should file the I-864A.

Their income is completely together, they don´t have individual income.
