Hello buddies, I got my NOA2. I think next, my fiance will get a packet in the mail right? Will I get anything? Do I need to send her my K1 application and all items listed in the K1 guide right now or should I wait until she gets the packet?

And what else is involved? Will her packet be in Chinese or English? Is there some website she needs to register on and such? I would just like more detailed info on the whole process so I can help her.

Thank you

now that you have your noa2, this is when things move fast. your file will go to NVC 603-334-0700 you can call them in about 1-2 weeks and ask for your new receipt number and Invoice number, you use the new receipt number to track it on CEAC website until it get to your embassy. gather all the information you sent with your i129 form etc send to ur fiancee, front load if you want , send a copy of NOA2 and info from NVC.

1. casefile movement next into NVC. in a bit, two weeks or so, call in to NVC, give over USCIS receipt #, get Consular casefile # (starts with GUZ).

2. register up at ustraveldocs.com/cn with the GUZ # and passport # - follow instructions there on what to do.

3. Monitor CEAC website for status changes. When it first changes to 'administrative processing' - GUZ IV has the casefile, has opened it, has logged it, and has started the next round of background checks on the beneficiary. Usually, is safe to pay the K-1 visa fee then.

Guangzhou is unlike any other consulate in the world - the casefile (plus the rest in that shipment) is held, per treaty, at a China Customs Bonded warehouse for 1 to 4 months. Usually, continued processing at the IV Unit will NOT occur unless the casefile actually gets into the IV Unit, but, is quite possible an IV staffer will rely solely on the SAFEFILE version of the casefile (an electronic, imaged version of the casefile made at NVC whilst it was at NVC) so things might go faster for your fiance. It's a cr@pshoot, no one knows the criteria for an IV staffer using the SAFEFILE version (solely) of the casefile.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Ditto... Much of this. This has been my experience. I am a 129f applicant (fiance visa) I got my noa2 on Oct 6. So I have just been bumbling through. hoping I am doing this right. trying to push along.

in a couple of weeks call call NVC and get your case number and IIN number. have noa1 available for receipt number. have your birthday and your fiance's birthday be prepared to give your email address and fiance email address for further contact (advice of others-but I have not been contacted yet)

so now you have case number you can go to CEAC = https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ enter case number and iin. As is understand 129f is nonimmigrant visa so your fiance will fill out DS-160 form online. it is an easy form basic information. education employment, much of the information from G-325A submitted with 129f. After you fill out the DS-160 print out the confirmation page. I'm told it is important. so is noa1 and noa2.

In some of the shortcut wikis i read there was a form to fill out to designate an agent. I never saw such a form.

after you fill out DS-160 you can go to CGI Stanley. Through http://ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-steps.asp. This is where you find CGI Stanley. You can pay fee for DS-160.

Now this is strange... you file 129f for nonimmigrant visa entry to usa. at CGI Stanley you will find things under immigrant visa. Although fiance is indeed immigrating. the visa is a nonimmigrant visa. but while you in cgi stanley try drop down menus for immigrants.

Now While we were doing DS160 online. Fiance did indeed get a letter from consulate. this where things are a bit hazy for me. my fiance's english is not good. but she said she sent some things back to the consulate.

My fiance Calls the letter she got from the consulate a P3 letter. it requested passport photos, DS 160 confirmation paper and the P3 paper.

She is expecting now a P4 letter from the consulate with instructions on the medical exam and my I-134.

She has an interview sheduled for Nov 17 I think that will be too early. she was able to schedule when she was online to pay the DS-160 fee.

When she goes to the interview she will have my original i-134, copy of 129f, updated letter of intent to marry. daily chat logs from skype. (i suggested she only print 5 or 10 days of each month it is a lot of pages even at 8 pt font and zero line spacinging) she will have birth certificates, divorce certificate, no marriage certificate, police certificate,

I hope this is helpful to for you. I have been reading this site and this kind of a condensed version of what i've gatered and what I have experienced. :)

Thanks buddy this helps a lot. My fiance also does not have perfect english, that is why I want to learn as much as I can to make sure she doesn't miss something or send the wrong thing etc. maybe I worry too much!

I will read through this again when I get home.
