I have a question. The date stamp from the courts on my copy of my decree of dissolution is different from the final court hearing.

Do i use the day of hearing or the date stamp from the courts?

The divorce decree should state the effective date of the divorce, which may very ell be different from the date signed by the Judge or the date of the Court Stamp.

For example, the Judge in my divorce made a verbal judgement at the end of the trial, but the decree wasn't signed until about eight months later. However, the effective date of the divorce is the date of the verbal judgement and that is what is stated in the decree.
