Our waiver was filed april 14 2014 and was approved october 7th. we received a letter (i_797) that told us to wait for the instruction letter. If it's been over 6 months I was told that the person applying for the Visa will have to do medical and police records over again. Then you have to schedule another appointment with the embassy to do the interview. I've read on here that some people didn't have to do the interview over, I guess it all depends on the person. I was also told that we did not need to pay the Visa fee over again.
