Spouse immigrating to USA DS-260

Hello

I have submitted our DS-260. The form asks if your spouse is immigrating to the USA with you (husband = beneficiary, Me = USC). I ticked yes, but now I am worried I have answered it wrong as I am the USC and will not be immigrating (although I have lived in Australia for ten years, as a USC I won't be immigrating).

The form is submitted already.

Is there anyway to update this? Has anyone else submitted this in error? We thought it was asking if I would be coming with my husband (the beneficiary), and if ticked no more information was required, so we thought yes was correct. I will be entering USA with my husband at the same time.

All you can do is call NVC and tell them. Yes thats is wrong. But call them.

I phoned this morning and the lady told me that it would be ok. She said if they find anything wrong with the DS-260, that they will unlock it and ask us to fix it.

Does this sound ok? Should we email the NVC as well?

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/512544-ds-260-mistake/

After about half an hour of searching, I found someone else who made the same mistake!

They have recently received a case complete, and we should be able to correct this at the interview. Link is posted above in case anyone else submits the DS-260 with an error or mistake when answering the question on if your spouse is immigrating with you!

I've been stressing out, but feel a bit better now. Now, to try and wait for a CC (hopefully rather than any checklists!)

Good luck everyone!
