What is Documents are in administrative processing?

Hello everyone,

My friend done her interview the other day but she was confused about the result.

In the releasing window, the guy told her that her documents are under "administrative processing" and said that just call at embassy and follow up.

What is this mean?

He didn't say approved or denied and didn't return her passport.

Just like to hear if there's anybody or have idea about this. She is worried that what if they denied it.

If in case, they denied her, Are they going to mail the passport? When she can re-file her application?

No one knows what documents are being further reviewed under AP, if the embassy needs anything they will email your fiancee with a 221g request. Until then be patient.

just wait the email coming from them so you can prepare or gather what other documents they are needed. because when i was there man infront of me before leaving the releasing area the people there informed to the applicant that open their email when they got home.
