Questions on NVC checklist

Hi all,

I am finally putting together the NVC package and I have some doubts.

Here is the checklist that I have received:

1.Document cover sheet

2. Financial documents:

- Affidavit of support

-IRS tax transcript

-federal income tax returns

-form w2

-evidence of income

-proof of relationship

-proof of US status

-social security earnings statement

-proof of assets

3. Supporting documents:

-adoption documentation

-birth certificate

-court and prison records

-marriage certificate

-marriage termination documents

-military records

-petitioner documents: which documents of the petitioner should we include (birth certificate? passport copy?)?

-photocopy of valid passport

-photographs

-police certificates

-translations

-photocopies: which photocopy should we include? the copy of the original documents we are sending (birth certificate, marriage certificate, police certificate)?

4. other documents

Also, if we are filing with a joint sponsor who meets the income requirements other than the IRS tax transcript do we have to include also the federal income tax return, W2 and evidence of income?

Do I need to send two passport-style photographs to NVC?

I don't see it on the cover sheet documents that I received from NVC.

No the embassy takes the passport photos.
