Hello,

My fiance is considering quitting his job if he finds a better one. will that effect our visa process?

03 Nov 2014 - NOA2 approved on USCIS website

07 Nov 2014 - NOA2 hard copy received

14 Nov 2014 - Case number and Application ID assigned

20 Nov 2014 - Ready for interview

05 Dec 2014 - Consulate received my case

18 Dec 2014 - Interview date (Approved)

29 Dec 2014 - Visa Issued
02 Jan 2015 - Visa in hands

it should not affect it as long as the new job income meets the poverty guidelines

Oh thank you !! the new job (hopefully he gets) will pay him way more than he does now !! so that's why he is so tempted to just quit..
