I'm soo confused and finding conflicting info everywhere. We received our NOA2 September 23rd. I called the NVC on October 6th, they said they hadn't received our packet from USCIS yet and that it can take up to 5 weeks. They said I should check back next week. The part I'm confused about is what happens afterward.

They will forward to the consulate in Lagos processing. Questions:

1. Do they send packet 3 and 4 to the address we provided? Do the mail anything at all? Or can we print online and fill? If so, where are the forms?

2. When do we start collecting police reports and doing medical exams?

3. Does the consulate provide us a interview date or do we schedule it on out own? How? And when can we?

4. I know there's a few to be paid... When do we do that?

Can someone who has recently went through this process please break it down?

Thank you in advance!

Call them next which do belive that the case number is ready then u can start tracking it on ceac.com. once u discover that ur case is at Lagos consulate then u can go ahead and send an email to LagosIV@state.gov. your subject should be your case number LGSxxxxxx and the beneficiary full names in cap, the body of the message should be that ur case is now at Lagos consulate and u just want to know the next step to take period then u can proceed from there. You can email me if u have any other questions.

Once you get the case number go to GTB back and pay the Visa fee and then you can schedule your interview and get that letter of interview and have medical.

During this time you could go to embassy website and download forms and move forward. You don't have to wait for embassy for anything.

You should be getting your forms together and your financials together.
