If you want to change the fundamental nature of how the United States views the status of the undocumented, go right ahead and change it. Otherwise, this is not a matter of ideology or partisanship. The US states categorically that when you are on US soil you have the right to legal representation, for good reason. Changing that basic premise will radically change what the US is and stands for. Go for it, see where it lands you.

Hmmmmm, I reckon throwing away millions on wayward imps doesn't upset too many here.

Wasting tax dollars does bother me, but given the things this country wastes money on, I am able to put $2.5 million in context. Bigger things to go apeshit on IMO, unless we are OK with being called out as hypocrites.

Like crackers, paper bags in America serve a purpose of distinguishing whether or how long we would spend in bed with them before kicking them out. It's assumed that everything has been properly strained through a hepa filter as a cheese cloth may be contaminated, and also allows relatively large particles to pass through.
