Hi everyone!

Does anyone know the process of requesting for I-129F (K1) extension?

Thank you :)

I've read somewhere on this site that some people emailed, called or even sent formal letters (can be downloaded from "form download" section of this site) to the consulate to extend the i-129f. Some even say its automatically extended by the consulate for another 4 mos as long as both parties are still legally able to marry. If i were you i would get in touch with your specific embassy consulate to ask what exactly they require to extend the validity of your i-129f as it may be different for each country. Best of luck.

What do you mean extension? Emailing the Embassy can yield a change in the interview or an extension to the 6 month use of the K-1 once issued.

You can change your interview date twice without penalty. After that you have to pay again,.

Ahhh so I still have 1 last chance of changing it without penalty then? Am I correct? heheheh

My original schedule was on Oct.13 but then I canceled and changed it to Oct.17 ..and now I am planning of changing it again for my final
