hi i need help is my fiancé still eligible to set an appointment for interview even if the NOA2 is 1 year expired?

my fiancé never got a letter saying he was approved nor the packet that was sent to him but I got a mail saying the petition was approved what should i do? I don't want to start from the beginning i already payed and i've been waiting and waiting?

You would need to contact the embassy?

First I would contact NVC to get your case number. Than you can contact the embassy. After a year the petition may be expired since it is a K1. But I would make those calls now.

Timeline

Embassy also responds to emails asking about this if you can't get through on phone.

Possible they already closed the file, and you want to know if this happened yet or not to plan your next step.

If they did close the file, you can refile new petition.

You should sign up on USCIS website to get email notification so you can track this thing.
