Hi,

My sponsor originated from another country who came to the states in the early 2000's. All their papers works have already been processed years ago. She also brought over her sons. Does she need to include her filing for her sons in these questions?

Question 9: I have previously submitted affidavits of support for the following...
Question 10: I have submitted a visa petitions to US Citizenship & Immigration Services on behalf of...

Or can she just write down "None"?

Did she submit affidavits of support for her sons? Did she file petitions to bring her sons to the US? If both of those answers are yes, then that is what she answers. If she never filed affidavits of support or any petitions for anyone before, then the answer would be None.

How did they gain permanent residency? She and her sons came on tourist visas and the mom married a USC and they all stayed and filed for AOS? If that is the case, then her spouse filed the affidavit of support and petitions and not her. It is asking if she personally ever signed an I-864 to sponsor anyone before. It is asking if she ever filed an I-129F or I-130 petition for anyone before. She should know if she ever submitted those forms to the USCIS before as a sponsor/petitioner.
