Questions about names on Permanent Resident Visa

Hello,

I'm not sure if this belongs in this forum, but I am applying for the CR-1 visa for my husband so I think so. Anyway, my husband has several names on his passport--four actually--but there is a family name that isn't included that he'd like to use as his surname when he is in the US. What happens when the visa is approved (hopefully!!)? Do they only use the names on the passport and that spelling?

Its not actually, it's on his father's passport though. They just cut off the names at 4, and the official names are the given name, father, grandfather and great grandfather and then it stops.
