Clerical error of Birth Certificate

Hi Good day everyone, another inquiry again, does it give problem to Embassy if in my birth certificate has clerical error for the names of my parents, like to my father his name is Abelardo but in my Birth Certificate "Billy" ( his nickname ), and my mom Christina but in birth certificate only Cristina ( means her real name there should be "h" )?

This has happened many times before, what is very important is that YOUR name is correct.

You could go to the local civil registrar to correct name issues on the BC, not sure how long the process takes. Most don't bother.

you need the notation on your birth certificate regarding the error of your parents.it takes 2 months of processing in NSO and need to submit suppoting documents to correct their names.

thank you for quick reply guys, I actually file a correction of my clerical error of my birth certificate already at the local civil registrar, but it says the processing would be 6 months, and also they gave me certification that it says that birth certificate is still on process.

Right now I am still waiting for the NOA2, but my worry only if my NOA2 would arrive this month and I can get my interview this month also and my new corrected birth certificate would not yet arrive, so I hope it would not be problem
