Hi, I am a Japanese and live in Japan right now. My fiancé and I have been working on gettig my K1 Visa since this March. We had heard that my I129F was approved this month. So, I am trying to prepare things for the interview.

We have just found out that I do need to get a police report from Canada because I have stayed in Canada for about seven months by working holiday program. So, we have made contact with a company which can get my police report from Canada. They sent me a message with a document to get my fingerprint from my local police station in Japan. I went to a police station to get my fingerprint and asked the officer to write his signature in a blank for that. He said, "I can't write my signature on the document. That's the rule.." However, the instruction from the company says that incompleted applications will not be processed... I am wondering if someone was/is the same situation as mine or someone knows if I can get my police record without the police officer's signature. Thank you in advance!!
