Go back to the embassy and ask them to fix it. It would be on your record for everything since you will need to provide a copy of K-1 visa and your I-94 will show the name as well.

You will have to get this fixed right away. If it were a case of it being a hyphen or a diacritic error it wouldn't have mattered. For example, my cousin's last name is hyphenated, even though his BC and ID card had it this way his passport was issued without the hyphen, so was his visa, GC, and SSN. In spite of this, he was able to get other things with the hyphen, like his taxes and health insurance, and DL.

Therefore, if the mistake is an incorrect, missing, or extra letter, or a missing or extra space, then you will have to get this fixed by the embassy BEFORE travel. If it is a hyphen, a missing apostrophe, or diacritic error(é è ñ) then this won't matter because that is how it is issued since the English language either doesn't use or are not needed on the document.

Please fix this right away if it's a spelling mistake since you will have an extremely hard time getting it fixed later on. Good luck.
