Jamaica Medical Cost?

I'd like to set aside money for my husband's eventual medical exam in Jamaica. Can any fellow Jamaican friends give me an idea of costs? Thanks so much!!

If in Kingston Andrews Memorial is a bit cheaper

I am not sure of exact amount. it depends on

vaccine needed & this time of yr a flu shot is

also requires I would say minimum $400.00 to

cover everything if he as left over he can use it

for police record

It depends on shots needed. We spent about 300.00 us, but with the exchange rate change, that should be still enough money.

Thank you so much! This really helps. I can't wait until this process is finished. It will be two months tomorrow that I turned in the I-130. My husband's friend in immigration said they received his paperwork last week so at least I know the ball is rolling!!

It's $120 for the medical, whether it's Kingston or Montego Bay. As everyone else is saying, all depends on how many, if any immunizations your fiance needs. The first time my fiance went last year it was $120 for the medical, $180 for the immunization, plus $30 for a drug test. This year, it was $150 for just the medical and drug test.

What you may also want to know is the different prices for the police record for the amount of time you choose to get it back. Something I wasn't aware of initially. $85 for 3 working days, $60 for 7 days, and $30 for 21 days.

The non impediment form is $75

You're welcome! Wanted you to also be prepared for the time frames and inconveniences of getting the documents. Nothing like the states where we pay for it online and print from our own computer or go to the location and receive the document the same day. A lot of going here, then there etc etc

I emailed the embassy and asked them if they can email me the appointment date for my fiance and they did with the original appointment letter to follow. If u need things done, don't wait for the embassy just email them, and they will either direct you or tell u to wait.

Thank you... my case isn't complete yet. We still waiting for them to invoice us for the visa so we can complete it online. I just received the aos invoice. I paid it and sent the supporting docs. I was hoping my husband would be here by end of year but doesnt look good.
