Rush order for passport in Manila

We have found out that we cannot do a Rush order for passport in Cebu. Has anyone done one recently in Manila ? We are hoping the hold is not system wide

Getting p assport in manila takes 7business days. Didnt have rush. Because before I want rush but didnt it takes 7working days

DFA claims to have fixed the issuance/printing issue. Your best bet is to call a DFA office in Manila to inquire. As someone has pointed out, it's 7 days for rush order. Most of time it gets delivered earlier than the timeframes posted. HTH

There is a back log on passports because a major system breakdown. It's back up and they are working hard to get the back log caught up. I answered your other thread with the same answer. I also posted an article (9/14/14) on this same subject to inform others who are experiencing the same problem as you.

Hi everybody good day to all my wife has been waiting for over 3 weeks now for her passport and when she called the DFA office in manila where she applied they told her she should have it by September 23 so they are still behind on their production of people's passports

Mine too, releasing date was stated 15-22 of september, so i went today but was told to call back until the 22nd since releasing will be up to that date...no passport yet for almost a month! I wonder if i can pay my visa using my existing but still valid passport while waiting for the new one...

I opted for regular processing because i thought my case file/petition will take a couple of months to be transferred from china to

Manila but it was forwarded to manila sooner than what we expected

What ID's did you use to renew? We have present work ID, voter card, SSS number, NBI, the present passport that is being replaced, TIN, NSO . Is this enough ?

For renewal, i just presented one govt ID then a photocopy of my existing passport, front page and last page
