Between Hawaii and most of the coastline of California and Florida you really should not be hard pressed to find an Island-like getaway in the United States of America. Pick a kind of environment and we have it here somewhere. Probably cheaper than a Bahaman resort.

Or check the rules about Puerto Rico (a US territory) and the US Virgin Islands. I'm guessing a quick check of the new passport rules (ie: US citizens now required to flash the pass at Mexico and Canada borders, but not for Puerto Rico, maybe the VI???) might be a good indicator of what would be considered out of bounds.

As a Cali girl born and bred, I think the west coast is full of good options!

just a clarification question, similar topic.

i know you have to get married in the united states. but if my so and i need a religious wedding also, and would perfer it in israel, all that matters is getting permision to travel, correct? and we can continue the time of residence and such, if its just for the wedding and a week or so?
