Form 845 and question about the organization

Hi,

I have a problem with filling the form 845. In the part no 3 they ask to list all the organizations I was part in when being in the US. I was an au pair so I have worked for the au pair agency- should i write this?

Hi!

I was an au pair too but I didn't put the au pair agency in the list of organizations. I believe that what they mean by organizations is for example professional associations, environmental organizations, political parties, etc. So the au pair agency is not part of that.

Did you write that you worked as an au pair in your job history?

You're welcome! Yes I wrote that I was an au pair on J-1 visa with dates and name/address of my host family. I did the same when I filled out the G-325A form for my K-1 visa and it was fine.

... also if im on j1 visa and the program finishes on date but i have 30 days period. So lets say my visa is valid till 1st October ( as my Ds form says) or till 30th of October . I am not sure what should I write in the box where they ask me till when my visa is valid. Shall i say 1st October +30 days period?

I think you should write the date that your DS form says + 30 days grace period
