Married abroad - no "long form" marriage certificate

For those of you who were married abroad, when providing a copy of your marriage certificate for I-130 (and later for the other requirements) will I get denied of I don't have a "long form" of my marriage certificate? I don't think they do that here where I live, and I'm not even sure of what it is. Will an official, notarized marriage certificate suffice or do I have to look into obtaining a long form?

Never heard of a long for marriage certificate, there is a long form birth certificate in the UK.

I checked various Namibian consulate websites along with a government of Namibia website and saw nothing mentioning a "long-form marriage certificate". I realize it doesn't help much other than seconding Boiler's observation.

I've not been involved in filing an I-130. Is that term specifically used as a required document?

I'm sure more experienced members will chime in.

Well thank you very much for doing a bit of homework on my behalf. But no, the term in the I-130 does not mention a long form marriage certificate, I am actually looking way ahead to further my stress to the NVC part where we will have to send in a long form birth certificate for him and I clicked on the requirements for South Africa since I THINK that is who will be processing our application since Namibia does not have USCIS presence (or can the embassy in Namibia still process????) and it also mentioned a long form marriage certificate which got me concerned about the whole thing. Our marriage certificate is a small piece of paper, but we were married by a minister who is a public notary. . .
