Expedite request time between ask and response?

I placed a medical request for expedite in a week ago and was wondering how long it takes on average to here back whether it was approved or not. Uscis says 30 days. Is that what others have experienced?

Trying to figure another flight to visit before he's approved to return to the US.

When my husband and I filed an expedite it took about 45 days to get approved. I hope yours will get approved, expedites can be tough to get.

We got a notice that should receive a decision in 10 days, it's been 30 now and still nothing... so really - there is no telling, it's either you'll get lucky or you wont. So, good luck!
