Form I-485, where do I find the nonimmigrant visa number?

Ok, I'm not sure out of the many numbers that are on the passport/visa, which set of numbers do I use for the nonimmigrant visa number being requested on the I-485 form?

2005-11-19 Met Xiang in Nanning

2005-11-25 Asked for Xiang's hand in marriage

2006-02-21 Date I-129F Sent

2006-02-24 Date I-129F NOA1 (Receipt)

2006-03-15 Applied for Emergency Expedite

2006-04-03 Date I-129F NOA2 (Approved)

2006-04-25 Date packet was sent from NVC to Guangzhou, China

2006-07-07 Date Xiang recieved Packet #3 from Guangzhou, China

2006-07-08 Date Xiang sent Packet #3 to the U.S. Consulate

2006-07-27 Date Xiang recieved request for biographical information on our daughter

2006-07-27 Date Xiang sent biographical information to the U.S. Consulate

2006-08-17 Date Xiang sent biographical information to the U.S. Consulate, again!

2006-08-21 Date Xiang called, faxed and mailed the U.S. Consulate the biographical information

2006-08-22 Email from the U.S. Consulate, they FINALLY received the G-325A form for our daughter!

2006-08-22 Waiting patiently for Packet #4 to arrive, bring my soulmate to my open arms!!!

2006-08-25 Packet #4 sent out from the U.S. Consulate, in transit to my baby!!!

2006-08-29 11:25pm Email from the U.S. Consulate, the interview date is October 17th!

2006-09-29 Medical examination for Xiang and our daughter Qi. Interview is just around the corner!

2006-10-16 11:15pm VISA APPROVED!!!!

2006-10-29 Xiang and Qi arrived in Detroit, immigrations 2 1/2 hours, finally holding my sweetheart in my arms.

2006-11-05 Exchanging our vows, what a beautiful day for our wedding!

ON THE SAMPLE APPLICATION IT IS A 8 DIDGET NUMBER AND ON MY HUSBANDS VISA THERE IS A 8 DIDGET NUMBER TOWARDS BOTTOM RIGHT ABOVE THE (<<<<<<<<<<<<<<) STUFF...LOL... I AM THINKING THATS IT CUZ I DO NOT SEE WHERE ELSE IT COULD BE!!!!

ANYONE HAVE A CLUE!!!!!!

03/29/2007 - touched AOS

04/06/2007 - welcoming letter (by email)

04/11/2007 - AOS approval (by email)

04/12/2007 - 2yr. green card in hand...omg!!

06/29/2007 - bought our new house

HEY I JUST NOTICED YOUR TIME LINE, AND THE VISA IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE AND JUST WONDERING IF YOUR ABOUT READY TO SEND THE AOS IN. JUST CHECKING AND TRYING TO SEE WHAT EVERYONE IS DOING.. I AM THINKING GIVING IT ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE IT EXPIRES IF NOT SOONER....

Ok, if that's the nonimmigrant visa number then where can I find the A #? I thought that the red eight (8) digit number on the visa was the A #. Ok, now I'm confused.

I'm going to send in the packet on Friday January 26th with an overnight delivery so that they have it on Monday. I'm in the U.S. Army National Guard and we got called up to active duty for a week, I'm hoping that the USCIS takes this into consideration.

The A# can be found (hopefully) in a few places.

It is usually on the NOA 2..... on the back of the I-94 and sometimes on the visa itself... it begins with an A.

married Dec '03 in US

Feb 04...... I 130 filed......................approved August 04

March 04... I 129F filed....................approved October 04

August 04...I 130 for children filed....approved September 04

Interview: Jan 19 2005 in Sydney

Leave for New Hampshire 27 January 05

We are Home!!!!! :o)

AOS timeline....round 1

2/16/05 I-765 mailed to Chicago

5/24/05 EAD approved

7/11/05 Started work!!

11/16/06 Transferred to CSC

Hi the A number is on my K1 visa but I cannot see it on my son's K2 visa is this correct? SHould he not have one??

Interview Approved 7th November 2006

Visa delivered 9th November 2006

Finally where I belong S.C with my man 19th November 2006 WOOO HOOO!!!

Got Married 14th January 2007

AOS

Sent AOS docs 31st January 2007

USPS confirm delivered to USCIS 06th February 2007

I-797C Notice of Action dtd 9th Feb recvd 12th February 2007 (both my son and myself)

Biometrics Appointment 1st March 2007

Transfered to CSC 11th April 2007

GREEN CARDS RECEIVED 9th July 2007 All done till 2009!!!!!

On my visa my A# can be found in the "annotation" field.

That is correct....the K2 will not have an A#
