As we are working on CR1 Visa and now we have trouble with i-130. Can anyone advise us ?

We want everything to be perfectly filed. Therefore, we decided to do the test form. So we filed the details in i-130 and saved in PDF format. The problem is it would not allow us to save the SSN of my USC wife. Is this problem because we are trying to save. Will the problem be sorted if we print.

In question 15 at I-130 they say Name and address of present employer ? Date this employment began? Whose employment ? Mine (beneficiary) or petitioners (wife) Also it does not allows us put date on employment. why?

not enough space for address and name of employer but it let me keep typing it in... how do we resolve this issue??

We need to give the last address we shared together and tell the length of time we were there (month and year) should i use your address for the summer?? This summer we spend few weeks together in my address in Delhi 'coz we went on traveling. Should we mention that?? As we spent only few weeks at my place; will that be problem?

In question 20 at I-130, they said to put my name and address in native alphabet (if my native alphabet is other than Roman). We both dont know how to type my native (devnagari / Nepali) font over computer. Can we simply ink pen the info?

We are so sorry to ask tons of question. We look forward to hear from you guys.

Thanks in Advance

If you just print out the form and fill in her SSN with black ink then they shouldn't care as long as it's neatly written.

Note that question 15 is on the C. side of the form marked as the beneficiary, so it would be the non-USC spouse's work info.

If anything is too long to be written/typed in the blanks then just write in the blank "see attached (note what they need to look for in the files, number the paper or whatever)..." and include it on a separate piece of paper that refers to the question on the I-130.

If your spouse was actually "residing" with you then, yes, include the address. This wouldn't effect the petition.

And as far as your native alphabet goes...perhaps you can hunt down the letters needed by going to Start on your PC, and search for Character Map. If you can't find the letters in there you're needing then (if it's short enough to fit in the blank) just write neatly in black ink.

- You can overwrite the file. Type in the SSN then click save as and just click okay to replaced the previously saved file

In question 15 at I-130 they say Name and address of present employer ? Date this employment began? Whose employment ? Mine (beneficiary) or petitioners (wife) Also it does not allows us put date on employment. why?

- it is for beneficiary’s employment . keep the date on MM/DD/YYYY format

not enough space for address and name of employer but it let me keep typing it in... how do we resolve this issue??

-some entries will allow you to put more characters and automatically make the font somehow smaller. Just keep it as it is.

- as per the instructions, you can add another sheet, just mention file I-130 and which specific number it is for

We need to give the last address we shared together and tell the length of time we were there (month and year) should i use your address for the summer?? This summer we spend few weeks together in my address in Delhi 'coz we went on traveling. Should we mention that?? As we spent only few weeks at my place; will that be problem?

- you need not to mention the place where it is for holiday/vacation only

In question 20 at I-130, they said to put my name and address in native alphabet (if my native alphabet is other than Roman). We both dont know how to type my native (devnagari / Nepali) font over computer. Can we simply ink pen the info?
-the ink pen should do fine. That’s what we do for entries that we cannot type.

We are so sorry to ask tons of question. We look forward to hear from you guys.
