I-131 ... leave blanks or write N/A?

If a question is not applicable do I really need to put "N/A" in every single space (seeing the majority of the form is not applicable to my application - filing concurrently with AOS).

The USCIS instructions say "If the answer is not applicable or the answer is none, print or type N/A".

Just curious what others filing for AP with their AOS have done - leave em blank or literally spam the document with N/A.

Thanks!

Don't they contradict each other? ... or am I just reading something wrong.

The USCIS instructions on page 7 say "Answer all questions fully and accurately. If an item is not applicable or the answer is none, print or type N/A"

And the example form leaves all the non-applicable answers blank.

I just left them blank, same as with the example form here in VJ, and like most folks (if not all), I did not encounter any issue. :)

For Part 3, I only wrote unknown and N/A on items 1 & 2, respectively and ticked "No" on item 3.a. Then, you can SKIP the rest of Part 3 up to Part 7. There is a note on the bottom of page 2, pertaining to this instruction.
