Hi,

We got my k1 visa issued, but when re-reading my ds-160 application that I kept on my computer, I noticed that for a previous trip in the US I put the length of my stay to be 3 weeks instead of 3 months (which was still allowed with my J1 visa).
I received my passport back and my brown envelope. What should I do? Call the embassy to notify them, or is it still OK as they know I have never overstayed on any of my previous trips in the US?

I am really stressed because of that, as I am planning to fly to the US next month.

Best regards,
Jeremy

It's OK -- they actually have access to the records of the length of stay, so if they thought it an issue, they would likely have brought it up during the interview.

Relax and enjoy your trip to the US....and all that will come next in your new life!

Thanks for your answer.

I am just concerned for the POE when I will arrive in the US.

Do you think if they access the ds-160, and if they asked when I met my fiancee (which was during the mistaken US travel), and I say in July, they will be like: "But you said you stayed 3 weeks.. this is a month after, so you lied".
