Text conversation Not in English

Hi,

With my I-129F packet for a K1 visa i am including only about 16 pages of Viber conversations (text messages). We text mostly and have thousands of pages but only sending couple or so pages per month since we seen each other the last time.

Most of the conversation is in Ukrainian but some is in English too because she is learning.

Do i have to translate our conversation?

Did anyone have this same situation? Sending the packet with non English text message conversation.

You should be fine, I sent over my conversations with English, Ukrainian, and Italian words. The people at the embassy should read Ukrainian just fine.

You will need to translate ALL non-English parts. You can do it yourself or hire a translator to do it. Make sure to make a statement after each translated document as following:

Certification by Translator

I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.

Yes i translated two documents in my packet and added that statement in the back and had it notarized but i never translated my conversations with her.

I translated all my conversations with my fiancee myself and added that statement. I got no Request for Evidence so far and I am beyond NOA2.

You dont need translate your conversation.

You will be fine, at the consulate they know the foreing language.
