Is there any way to reach the consulate in guangzhou to inquire/request about transfering an approved petition to manila?

We did send inquiry on their web mail feature and my usc fiance clicked petitioner when asked how is he related to the beneficiary. He received reply telling him that they can not verify his email address and they can only send information to the petitioner/principal applicant/lawyer or congressional officer... But my fiance clearly stated there that he is the petitioner. We already sent emails and fax to the embassy in manila but no reply yet.

What should we do? I tried calling them in guangzhou but was told to use the web mail too and then she connected me to a number for the instructions but i dont understand what they were saying coz they were talking so fast! ?

We will keep monitoring it... And probably will send email every week and hopefully they will

Notice it

They will, all we need is more and more patience, yes I will suggest do email them every after 2 weeks, that's what I did until abu dhabi finally recieved my files.? Edited by hardrockangel

in Guangzhou IV, a visa application is for the beneficiary. The casefile held there is pre-visa-application, not the visa application. So it smells like you two only get PRC employees to respond to email and not any USA-Consulate, USA-Citizens, to respond to your email.

You could try again, the beneficiary, asking via webform email thingie again, to transfer the casefile to Manila IV. Also ask (inside of the email) for USCitizen, Vice-Consul Review of Request, stating that the PRC Employees already made a mistake with the first email reply.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Now this is confusing, fiance jst called nvc to inquire why he did not receive any written notice from them that our case was forwarded to the consulate in guangzhou coz it is at READY status when we tracked it. They said today that our case did not actually leave nvc yet and that they are actually having it ready to be sent to Manila with a new case number... After all the email we sent to both manila and china, now they have to tell us this? If my fiance didnt call then we wont know abt it.... Interesting but really confusing!

If the case number is already assigned by nvc I dont think if they will change it again..ang also by saying in your ceac status ready it means it's already reached the assign consulate, and I do remember ypu said that guangzhou already sent you email stating that they are just waiting the confirmation from manila for the transfer,it's really confusing, coz I didn't experience that during my case file tansfer..just wait for the response from both consulate, goodluck ?

Yes, just this morning after i posted i receive email from manila embassy acknowledging my request of transfer and that they already informed guangzhou about it. It is really confusing because this morning, the nvc gave my fiance a new case number which is already MNL.... So i told him to call nvc again tomorrow and try to validate it... I'll post the result later after calling the nvc.

I will suggest you just stick with the 2 consulate to do the process of transferring, to avoid some more confusion and delays, just keep on looking on your ceac status..if it's change to transfer in progress it means guangzhou already sent the files.juat forget nvc for this moment..goodluck ?
