Just know that you have to get married within 90 days of his entry to the US on the K-1The letter

The letter of intent by mistake omitted the words 'within 90 days'. I got the RFE. They received the corrected paperwork on July 31st...nothing since then. What are they doing with the application? Does anyone know?

It's only been two weeks since they received your ppw. Give USCIS a call if you're worried and ask.

The K1 VISA doesn't require you to be engaged or have a ring. It requires you to be free and willing to marry. :)

Britain is not a high fraud nation and there is a lot less scrutiny in most of the cases passing through the London embassy.

I'm in almost the same situation as you. We knew each other for a few months started officially dating at the beginning of decemeber. After his first 2 week visit at the end on May this year we decided to officially get engaged and applied for K-1. Ollie is from the UK as well and I'm from the US. We are currently waiting for the NOA2 but applications usually get denied because of failure to follow the instructions and requirements. Don't worry about how long you've known each other, a lot of people have known each other for only a few months or weeks when they get married. Good Luck! Have fun on your visit!!
