Hiya, this is our second time around getting a CR-1 and I'm putting less work into the bona fides (last time it was a 30+ page document with photos...) and I'd just like an evaluation of whether or not the following is enough:

1. Birth Certificate of Daughter (a U.S. Citizen)

2. Purchase and Sale of Home in the U.S. (Co-mingling of funds, even if we don't still own it)

3. 12 photos + descriptions of timeline showing the most important points in the relationship (civil ceremony, religious ceremony, birth, house, moves, etc.)

I sorta feel like the BC of our daughter is a slam dunk and the other supporting evidence is just ensuring that the BC is not the only thing. We also have a prior case which was approved, which I suppose they could check.

Is this likely to be enough or should I go the extra mile and throw in more?

any utility bills in both names, on that house, prior ?

any tax returns, filing status 'married filing jointly' ?

any joint bank accounts, clearly showing both names?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Utility bills, typically no since I just handle them.

Bank accounts, yes, both U.S. and Canadian accounts that should be easy to pull up.

Previous U.S. tax returns, yes!

I have a lot of the paperwork out and I can't file until I get a couple more things done so I might as well pull this out and make some copies/prints and include it :) Thanks for the ideas/motivation.

I don't wish to be crude but all that proves is that you and your spouse slept together. While I'm sure it's a very valid part of your package I wouldn't count on that being a 'slam dunk'.

Your previous approved visa will probably carry more weight as you're still with the same person.

Our daughter wasn't born yet when we submitted the i130 but it was heavily mentioned in our relationship evidences. We submitted ultrasound stuff, cc bills to prove I was in his city, etc.

We didn't have joint utility bills or bank accounts. We didn't have joint anything come to think of it. We just submitted a few pics aside from the pregnancy stuff.

I dont wish to be rude, but while your statement may be somewhat accurate, it is about the most cynical view I have seen on here for a while.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.
