Could someone give an idea about this?

the petition is fiancee visa already filed were just waiting for approval when we get married here first in philippines is it help While waiting the petition approval /or the interview at the US EMBASSY.....

No, getting married in the Philipines while you have a K-1 Visa petition in progress will not make things faster. It will make you ineligible for a K-1 Visa. You already started the process. No need to create chaos now!

As already stated, if you legally get married in the Philippines, you are no longer eligible for the K1 and will have to start the K3 process from the beginning. If you are having a ceremoney only and no marriage license in the Philippines you should be ok. Suggest you go the foreign embassy forum and look at the manila embassy interview thread. Ken

If you get married while you have a K1 in process, the K1 becomes null and void because you are married. You will need to start again from the beginning. Be wise when you make that decision. Good luck.

Thats a big NO. you have to wait till AFTER you arrive in the USA to get married. even with an " unofficial marriage" you risk complications that could result in denial of the visa.

some may have had religious ceromony only with no problems. can anyone say if the Embassy in Manila is aware of it there would be no complications? whatever you decide, do it with eyes wide open.

The above posts are quite correct, getting married while you are filing a K-1 visa is a bad idea. It will void your K-1 and you'll have to start over on a K-3. Or unless you want to do a DCF, hold off on the wedding plans. However some consulates look fondly on an enagement ceremony and photos of that can be helpful at the interview. I would check with others in the regional forum who have been through the same consulate, see if they found such photos useful. And as mentioned above, you can always have a religous (non-legal) ceremony for family. But again, check with others who have been through your same consulate, because the photos can be misconstrued.
