Turns out I freaked out for nothing. I just checked the copies I made of the forms I sent in, and it was filled out correctly, phew! Earlier I only had my electronic forms available from when I started the process, and I thought that was how I sent it in.

Naturalization:

12/13/18: File online application

12/15/18: Receive notification for biometrics appointment (no date)

12/31/18: Biometrics

02/25/19: Receive interview letter (April 8 )

04/08/19: Interview, approved!

04/12/19: Oath scheduled for April 26 

04/26/19: Oath Ceremony! 🇺🇸

 

ROC:

04/26/17:  Sent ROC package

04/27/17:  Package received

05/20/17:  Biometrics letter received

06/02/17:  Biometrics

08/22/18:  Card being produced

 

AOS from F1 visa:

08/16/14: Sent AOS package: I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131

08/19/14: Package received at Chicago Lockbox

08/22/14: Acceptance confirmation text messages/emails

08/22/14: Checks cashed

08/26/14: Hard copies of NOA's received in mail

08/27/14: Biometrics appointment notice received. Scheduled for 9/8/14.

Well, good thing that it was correct. If you had to re-send it, that would delay your case in several days, even weeks

08/11/2014 - USCIS received package. (day 03)

08/18/2014 - NOA Hard Copy for i-485, i-130, I-131 and i-765 (day 10)

08/22/2014 - Biometrics Appoiment Notice for 09/03/2014 (day 14)

09/03/2014 - Biometrics done (day 26)

11/06/2014 - i-485 changed to Testing and Interview (day 85)

11/10/2014 - EAD Approved (day 89)

11/10/2014 - Interview scheduled to 12/11/2014

11/18/2014 - EAD in hands

12/11/2014 - Interview - Basically approved on the spot. Received text messages saying card/document production 30 minutes later

Well, I guess I am a little bit forward than you guys. Just got my biometrics appoiment for september 3rd. I don't think I will try a Walk-In because the office is one hour and a half away from my city.

12/05/2013 - Arrived on J1 Status

Got a text message this morning about the I-485 package, the I-130 had been sent on July.

The I-131 and I-765 are already on "initial review" and the I-485 is "acceptance".

And now the wait begins.. next step is Biometrics appointment right? how long does that usually take?

Naturalization (on basis of military service)

 

10/2/2020 - Mailed paper application to military specific Chicago Lockbox.

10/19/2020 - Case "received and accepted" according to the online tracker.

10/21/2020 - Text/letter receipt received.

08/11/2021 - Interview scheduled: Sept 14th.

09/14/2021 - Interview + Oath at the Montgomery Office.

 

I-130 (for my spouse)

 

09/23/2021 - Filed online.

09/29/2021 - Received receipt letter for I-130.

09/30/2021 - Filed I-129F through the mail.

10/12/2021 - Received receipt letter for I-129F.

12/17/2021 - AR Status change.

01/12/2022 - I-130 Approved.

01/13/2022 - I-129F Denied.

We sent our package (i485,i130, 864, 765, 325) on 8/26, it was delivered to Chicago lockbox this morning. Waiting! But I know with the holiday weekend, it will be a while before we hear anything.

Gregory.Peck, you will get that information when you get the hard copies of your NOA's. You can also look at other filer's timelines to get an idea how long it usually takes.

You will not finish and get your green card on that day, you still need to go for your interview :)
