Well - I've finally left my baby and returned back to the UK to wait for my visa. This is so hard for me - I miss him so much already and these stupid visas taking so long - who knows when it will be approed and have the interview set up! After living with him for a year in the UK and 2 months in our apartment in AZ this is the hardest part. I know alot of people may think that we are lucky to have spent so much time togehter - and we are - we've known each other for over 2 years and this is the 1st time we've had a 'long distance relationship' .. but . its harder on us .. i'm used to waking up next to Jamal every morning and kissing him goodnight every day. He's always there, by my side, and this time apart is gonna really suck!!

I can totally relate. My relationship started out as long distance, but he got to come visit here for awhile this summer and I really got used to having him here daily. When he had to go back to Canada, it killed us :) VJ has been really helpful during the time apart phase.

Ah. I remember all this.

It's the worst in the beginning. The first week or so. Later it kind of turns into a dull ache - always there but tolerable.

It's a necessary but painful part of the process. You'll get through it. We've all been there and are here when you need us....

Hey Tam,

I can completely relate also. We both were torn apart everytime we left each other at the airport. I hated airports. Was always bittersweet every time I went to visit and leave my baby.

In the grand scheme of things, a small wait for something much bigger / better in the future.

Good luck.

10Yr GC arrived 07/02/09 - Naturalization is next

The drama begins - again!

And now the drama ends - they took the Green card . . .
