Hi guys

I just want to thank everyone who contributes on this website it honestly gave us the confidence to put together our i-129F without any legal assistance. Our petition has been approved and i know this is just the begining but i really am grateful for all the help we have received.

While i'm waiting to hear from the embassy at london i Know there are a few things i can get done now:

send off for police certificate

fill out the DS 160 i think its called

Get my fiance to send her tax for last year and pay stubs

Is there anything else i need to prepare?

thanks in advance Guys

Congrats to a fellow Brit!

Once you have your case number you can book your medical at Knightsbridge. As soon as you've booked your medical and have all your documents ready, don't forget to send off the online Notification of Readiness form.

Good luck! :)

Ive read on here that you can get your case number before it reaches the embassy in london or is that for something else? We are trying to get the rest of the process completed as soon as possible as im pretty much ready to leave.

Why don't you dive into this thread which was written for UK K1s like yourself http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/

It gives more detail than the bits and snatches of info you will get in replies. The first post is a list of things to do now. There is a bad link in the first post to your document list. Try this when you want to see the documents for interview list http://london.usembassy.gov/application_documents.html
