Hello everyone at VJ. Glad this site isn't called VISA DOCUMENTS LOL!!!!!

How can a person find out if the consulate in Manila has RECEIVED the petition from NVC? I know from talking to a LIVE person at NVC that it left there on 1/4/07, but am wondering how to know if it has been touched in Manila. Any information is greatly appreciated.

1/27/2007 Nerissa told me she received a ltr on Friday 26th from USE in Manila telling her they had our petition. I'm sure that's a GREAT thing.

4/16/07 Medical scheduled

4/23/07 Interview 7:30 YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2/21/2007 She tells me in Yahoo msngr and then in an email that she DOES NOT want to come to USA because of her family who will suffer if she is not there

Call...NVC and ask about the day it was sent. NVC ships via DHL. (ww.dhl.com) Call them and give them the Day it was shipped and address of NVC in NH plus zip and they can tell you when it was picked up and the traking number once you have that go to the DHL site and put the number in and you should have all the info. It usually takes less then a week to get there via DHL. It will be in batches according to the embassy country. Find your country and voila - one less thing you have to stress about.

If you know your case number, MNL2007XXXXXXX, you can try calling the Embassy at 011-63-2-528-6300 ext 5184 or O and ask for Lorraine Gonzales. best time to call seems to be 7:30 to 8am Manila time.

You could also try this approach.

"You can call the Dept. of State in the US at 202-663-1225, press 1, then 0, then 0. Hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. They can tell you the current status of your case and if you have been scheduled an interview date. " This comes courtesy of Tim&Poonam. I called on Friday they told me they got the packet 3 from my fiancee and let me know I could call back to check on my status periodicaly. They were very courteous.
