Expect links to blogs that contain irrefutable information proving otherwise....

The 2008 law was designed to meet the needs and expectations at the time. Those have changed.. The Obama administration originally tried to get this law changed so they could process people faster and then backed out at the last minute after getting pressure from immigrant groups.

They got a pass at the beginning because of the law, since they chose to not pursue having it amended they no longer deserve that pass.

From USA Today on July 2:

Obama made a vague request for changes to federal law in a letter he wrote to congressional leaders on Monday. But a White House official confirmed on Wednesday that the administration is considering changes to the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008, known as the TVPRA, to fast-track deportation decisions.

And then yesterday from Reuters:

Many Republicans in both houses of Congress say they are unlikely to approve emergency funding without changes to a 2008 human anti-trafficking law. They want federal authorities to be able to more easily deport children who enter the United States illegally from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.

But many congressional Democrats are balking, saying they do not want to speed deportation of children escaping violence in their own countries. Many of the children are trying to reunite with relatives living in the United States.

The Democrats caved, the administration caved - they have decided to let the Republicans be the bad guys....

Also looking at that 3.7 billion request for the border issue... The Democrats in the Senate have added 215 Million for the Israel military (missile defense) and 615 million for fighting fires.. So they are willing to spend another billion to bribe the republicans so they don't have to speed up decisions on deportations.. W.T.F!?!?

The funny thing is that Obama is being blamed for following a law that was signed in 2008....

So if this sudden migration is the result of a law signed in 2008? Not really. The problem with the 2008 is the inability to deport them back to where they came from. It has little to do with why they're coming now. Unless of course your naive enough to believe that it took them 6 years to figure it out. You very well may be that blinded by your love for the Kenyan.

But hey, I'm here to help you out as I always am. I consider it a civic duty to help out those less fortunate.

The ONE AND ONLY REASON these CHILDREN ( I bolded and underlined that for you so you wont miss it) is because of a policy that Obama instituted call DACA. That stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. What this policy states is that "if you were brought here as child, through not fault of your own, that you should be given legal status" I'm paraphrasing, but those are the gist of Obama's words. Not Bush Jr.

With me so far? Good.

So these folks in Central America go this idea (rightly or wrongly) that if they send their kids to the U.S., they'll get to stay thanks to DACA. Now you have this flood of illegal immigrant children showing up unaccompanied. Which makes perfect sense really when you offer them something like Obama did. He!! if I was in their shoes, I'd be on the first thing smoking heading north as well.

I hope I made that simple enough for you to understand. No need to thank me.

Now for the parents of these children

You too don't understand the difference between DACA and the Trafficking Protection Re-authorization of 2008. Quite possibly a symptom of ODS.

At least when there was a Republican President all illegal immigrants appeared for their hearings. Or at least that what a nit thinks.

Did he skinny dip in Lake Champlain?

and the other half of the Nits think Chelly encouraging immigrants to come and Obama signing an executive order giving certain age kids quai-legal status has not encouraged the massive wave we have now.

At least you and I know that it is encouraging a run on the border. Too many here are one dimensional and borderline delusional. Maybe if we banned guns the illegal border crossings would stop? I mean somewhere in there guns must be responsible. Oh, wait, I know, let's ban poodles, that will stop it.

I believe you and I are the only ones that realize that...

you don't seem understand the difference between 2008 (when the laws were enacted) & 2014 (when obama publicly stated he would halt deportation). obviously a case of HUA.
