Scheduled for interview 5 days later placed in line again?

I really dont know what to make of this??? on July 16 i reicved a email and got all excited to be finally getting my date/time for interview 5 days later i get a message saying Im placed in line

On July 16, 2014, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was scheduled for interview.   You will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview.  If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. 

On July 21, 2014, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling.  When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview.

I'm sure you must be disappointed, but I wouldn't worry too much.

I think one of two things may have happened.

-this is a mistake by the system and your interview appointment is still valid

-USCIS has descheduled your interview.

If it's a mistake, and you don't get anything in the mail soon, I would call them and try to find out what's going on.

If you can't get a useful answer, I would go into the office at the scheduled time anyway. Best case, they interview you, worst case, they explain what's going on and tell you when you'll get a new appointment.

If you've been descheduled, this is nothing to worry about either; you'll get a new appointment letter in the mail. This probably has nothing to do with your case and everything to do with their caseload and scheduling issues.

As I said, if you don't get anything in the mail soon, I'd call and if you can't get an answer, I would just go in at the scheduled time unless the office is inconveniently far away from you.

What does your status say when you check your case online?

Also, give it 5 business days to receive the interview notice. Let's just say they re-mailed your notice on 07/21 - wait until this Saturday before you call but if you are eager, you can always call customer service and find out your interview date if they can provide that over the phone.

I did call USCIS today they think the first message was sent as an error because they dont see an appointment scheduled..

guess its back to waiting..
